FedEx Ground Distribution Center — Shakopee, MN

NBD was contracted for the construction of a new FedEx Ground Distribution Facility in Shakopee, MN.  The building consists of tip-up architectural concrete walls with a structural steel joist and deck roof system.  In addition to truck docking and package handling equipment, the building also contains general office space.  The contract also includes all site improvements.  The site is located adjacent to Hwy 169 in the Valley Green Business Park in Shakopee.  Construction began in November 2006 and was compled in June 2007.

Dahlheimer Distribution Center—Monticello, MN

NBD icompleted this new Dahlheimer Distribution Center. This project consisted of 47,000 S/F of a warehouse space and 7,500 S/F of upscale office space. The project was located on 8.6 acres of land in the new Monticello Industrial Park . Construction drawings were produced by Pope Associates. Construction began in September 2005 and was finished by January 2006!

World Champion Foods— Annandale, MN

NBD designed and constructed this 7500 s/f USDA food processing facility and corporate office for World Champion Foods. World Champion Foods specializes in authentic barbecue meats and seasonings, and competes on several national BBQ circuits under the brand name Willingham’s World Champion BBQ. The new production facility will allow them to service the commercial food service industry and their huge fan group across the country via their website (www.willinghamsbbq.com). The project was completed in December 2006.

Flour City Bending—Becker,MN

Flour City Bending selected Nelson Building to design and construct their new metal fabrication shop and office in the Becker Industrial Park. This 15,000 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building has been designed to accommodate future expansion. This fully sprinkled building includes 1,000 SF of office space on the first floor and a 4 ton top running crane that spans 50’ and runs the length of the building.
