Best Western Dakota Ridge - Eagan, MN

NBD has completed the renovation to the Dakota Ridge - Best Western Hotel in Eagan . The project consisted of light demolition, new interior and exterior finishes, new site lighting, and asphalt parking. Architectural design was provided by Cities Edge Architects.

Monticello Ice Arena - Monticello, MN

The Monticello Youth Hockey Association selected NBD for their new ice arena. Architects Re go + Young developed civil, structural, and architectural construction documents. NBD worked with them as a Design/Build contractor for the mechanical and electrical systems. The new arena is attached to the Monticule Middle School. The facility includes a single sheet of ice, team rooms, restrooms, mezzanine level, concession stand, and a multi-floor link to the existing school building.

Boyd's Building - Buffalo, MN

Nelson Building & Development  teamed up with its sister company, NBD Properties, LLC to renovate this downtown Buffalo building. The remodeling work included a complete restoration of the exterior, adding new windows on the west and south sides of the building, and adding interior corridors and restrooms. The completed building offers new office and retail suites overlooking Buffalo Lake. NBD relocated their offices there in June of 2004.

Annandale Fire Station - Annandale, MN

NBD has successfully completed it's first Construction Management (CM) project. NBD was selected as the CM and teamed up with I & S Architects and Engineers, Inc. to bring this project to reality for the city of Annandale. This new 12,000 S/F facility is a precast structure, metal joists and deck, membrane roof, aluminum entrances and includes a dispatch, offices, lounge area for EMT crew, meeting room and full accommodations for the fire crew. Construction began in August 2004 with completion in March of 2005.

Swan River Montessori School - Monticello, MN

NBD was selected as the Design / Build contractor for this new charter school to be located on a site next to the Monticello Community Center. The new facility is constructed around the old Methodist church relocated to the site provided by the City in the summer of 2004. The unique design ties into the architecture of the church and provides (6) classrooms and support facilities for the school. Included in the project will be updates to the existing church building to allow for community use. This tight scheduled project started in early spring of 2005 and was completed by it’s promised date in August of 2005.
