Buffalo Covenant Church - Buffalo,MN

Mankato Covenant Church - Mankato,MN

St. John's Lutheran Church - Buffalo, MN

Project Description: The 23,340 s/f addition & remodel will almost double the size of the existing facility.
Project Cost: $2.5 million

Projected Completion: August 2008

Freshwater Community Church - St. Bonifacius, MN

Nelson Building & Development is teaming up with GCF & Associates on a design-build project for Freshwater Community Church.  The project includes adding some much needed restrooms and classroom space as well as widening the corridors to improve the traffic flow.  In addition, the project will add a new lobby entrance and reception desk.  Careful attention was given to budget and NBD will be working closely with the church to achieve their goals in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Cornerstone Church - Litchfield, MN

February 2006, NBD completed the original Cornerstone Church project in Litchfield. Since then Cornerstone has experienced significant growth resulting in the need for additional office and children’s nursery space. Cornerstone has hired NBD to construct their new office and nursery addition. This project is scheduled to break ground in May 2008.

Crown College - St. Bonifacius, MN

In the Summer of 2007 Crown College engaged NBD to design their new Chapel and Fine Arts Center.  In their words the Chapel “will be the signature building of our 21st Century Campus”.  As part of their education, their campus community gathers several times each week for worship and teaching. The new Chapel will accommodate 1,500 students and staff and provide a daily opportunity to use the building for education in the various endeavors their graduates will meet as they prepare for their future ministries. 

Zion Lutheran Church - Buffalo, MN

In January of 2005 NBD completed this $2.5 million 27,000 S/F addition onto Zion Lutheran's existing facility. NBD worked very closely with Matt Hall at Station 19 Architects to complete this project on time and under budget. The addition is a refreshing update and provides ample room for the ministries Zion Lutheran Church serves the Buffalo community area in.

Servant of Christ - Champlin,MN

NBD competitively bid and was awarded the construction contract for the Servant of Christ Lutheran Church addition in Champlin.  The addition includes 5776 SF of new sanctuary on the main floor and 5776 SF of new classroom space in the lower level. Scope of work also includes the renovation of existing narthex, common area, and offices.  Project broke ground in June 2007. The project architect is Lampert Architects.

Spirit of Grace Church - Coon Rapids, MN

NBD has finished the construction of their third church project! NBD built a 4,500 s/f church for the congregation at Spirit of Grace Church. This church is a first for the congregation and NBD was honored to be a part of the project! The completion date was May of 2005. Lampert Architects designed the building and John Oliver Associates provided the civil engineering.

Faith Lutheran Church - Becker, MN

NBD has successfully completed their first church project. This project was a 15,000 S/F new facility completed in eight months. This new building has greatly enhanced Faith Lutheran's abilities to minister to its community and NBD is proud to be a part of expanding God's Kingdom. NBD and Station 19 Architects have now cemented a relationship that will continue on into many other projects together as a team.

NBD completed this new facility approximate six weeks ahead of schedule! This project was an invited bid in which NBD was the successful bidder. The church is a new 15,000 S/F facility situated on a beautiful wooded lot located on County Rd. 23 just north of Becker. The architect for this project was Matt Hall of Station 19 Architects. This project was completed in the spring of 2004 and is anticipated to be the first of many church projects that NBD hopes to complete in the upcoming years.
